Bandarlampung (Antara) - South West Maluku District was jolted by an earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale on Sunday, the meteorology and geophysics office said. The agency in Lampung said the quake hit at 00.48 local time with epicenter in the sea at 6.04 degrees south latitude and 130.77 degrees east longitude at a depth of 109 kilometers. The epicenter in the Banda sea is 224 kilometers southwest of Tual, 392 southeast of Ambon and 2,660 kilometers northeast of Jakarta. No information given on casualty and material losses. (*)
