Bandarlampung (Antara) - The meteorology and geophysics office recorded an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.7 on the Richter scale jolting Maluku province on Sunday morning. The quake struck at 08.24 a.m. local time with epicenter in the sea 357 kilometers southeast of Ambon, capital of Maluku, or 2,409 kilometers southeast of Jakarta. There was no immediate report of damage or casualty caused by the quake, the agency said, adding it has no potential to trigger tsunami.(*)
