Three More Bodies of AirAsia Crash Victims Identified

Jakarta (Antara) - The Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) team of the Indonesian Police on Sunday identified three more bodies of AirAsia crash victims.
"Based on the result of a reconciliation meeting today, three bodies have been identified," head of the public relations division of the Indonesian police Insp. Gen. Ronny F. Sompie said in a short message text on Sunday.
The three bodies were identified as Jie Stevie Gunawan (10), Juanita Limantara (30), and Wismoyo Ari Pambudi (24).
According to the Bhayangkara police hospital in East Java, nine bodies of the AirAsia crash victims consisting of five women and four men have been handed to their families.
The hospital said 12 bodies are currently undergoing post mortem examinations.
Head of the National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas) Vice Marshal F Henry Bambang Soelistyo said earlier in the day 31 bodies of AirAsia crash victims have been recovered and evacuated so far. (*)
