Semarang, C Java (Antara) - Indonesia's men's singles player Dionysius Hayom Rumbaka of the Djarunm Kudus badminton club advanced to the second round of Yonex Sunrise Vietnam GP Open after beating Wei Jian Ai of Malaysia in the first round. Hayom had not found it difficult to beat his contenders, chief of the badminton club Yoppy Rosimin remarked on Tuesday. "As he was eliminated from the national training camp (pelatnas) in Cipayung, Jakarta, Hayom was determined to rise," he affirmed. Hayom outscored Wei Jian Ai 21-10,21-5 in 25 minutes. In the second round, Hayom, who is the world's 24th seed, will play against the winner of match between Viky Anindita of Indonesia and Lu Chia Hung of Taiwan. (*) Reported by Hernawan Wahyudono
