Palangka Raya (Antara) - Two more bodies of passengers of a ferry that sank in Kapuas River in Central Kalimantan at around 9.15 am on Tuesday were found on Thursday. The bodies of Syahrini (22) and his child M Gunem (1.5) "were recovered at around 5.20 am by search and rescue team," Siter, an official from local Soemarno Sosroatmodjo hospital that received the bodies, said. He said the bodies had been handed over to their family who later buried them at around 10 am. The burial ceremony was attended by district head Ben Brahim S Bahat. The "Berkah Bersaudara" ferry was believed to have sunk due to overload. Seventeen people died while 52 others were rescued in the incident. (*) Reported by Ronny NT
