Jakarta (Antara) - Coordinating Minister of Political, Legal and Security Affairs Djoko Suyanto has appealed to the supporters of the presidential candidates to have a proportional outlook towards the results of the presidential election on Wednesday. Suyanto remarked that the supporters of Prabowo-Hatta and Jokowi-JK pairs should have a proportional outlook as the quick count figures were not the official results of the election. "The official results of the votes will be from the accumulative vote count that will be announced by the General Elections Commission (KPU) on July 22, 2014," Jokowi stated in his text message to Antara on Thursday. The minister explained that the quick count results from numerous survey institutes for each presidential candidate were not yet the final results. "The victory claims by the two camps of presidential candidates should be responded wisely, and the two camps should also ask their supporters to have a proportional stance towards the election results," he added. According to the security minister, all anarchic acts will only be detrimental to the state and the nation, and therefore, he emphasized that the safe and peaceful democratic process through the presidential election should continue to be maintained until July 22 when the KPU will announce the official results of the election.
