Nunukan, E Kalimantan (Antara) - The Customs and Excise Office of the Nunukan District, East Kalimantan, is investigating the alleged smuggling of 3.74 tons of cooking oil from Malaysia. On Wednesday, Nunukan Customs Office Chief Eko Yulianto Widhi reported that his office was examining the 220 packs of cooking oil, each weighing 17 kg, and could not yet ascertain whether the goods were smuggled or not. "We cannot yet confirm whether the packs of cooking oil were smuggled," he stated, adding that his office was still questioning the related parties. The cooking oil was confiscated by the task forces of the Infantry Battalion 100/Raider at the Bambangan Port of the Sebatik Barat subdistrict, on Thursday, January 16. (*)
