Jakarta (Antara) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is expected to receive Hollywood top movie star Harrison Ford and his team at the Presidential Office here on Tuesday. Harrison Ford who is well-known for a number of world box office films such as Indiana Jones, Star Wars and Air Force One, is on a visit in Indonesia for taking pictures for the production of a documentary film on climate change. He will conduct an interview with the President, but there is no confirmation so far whether the interview event would be part of the documentary film. Scheduled for a premiere in April 2014, the documentary film is reportedly to be produced jointly by James Cameron and Arnold Schwarzenegger under the title: "Years of Living Dangerously." On Monday morning, September 2, 2013, the 71-year old movie star was seen taking pictures in a coffee stall in Jalan Sabang, Central Jakarta. Ford also had an interview with Kuntoro Mangkusubroto, the head of the presidential unit for development control and supervision, on Monday evening (Sept 2). After the interview with Kuntoro, Ford flew to Kalimantan and Sumatra to have a look at a number of forest areas in Palangkaraya, Central Kalimantan, and in Riau province. Last Monday, Ford met with Forestry Minister Zulkifli Hasan. The minister explained that the handling of damage to forest in Indonesia was carried out in stages. The government did not take violent actions against forest encroachers but provided them with welfare improvement efforts so that they would no longer fell trees. (*)
