Jakarta (Antara) - The attorney general office has named five suspects in the corruption case in the development of a gas and steam fueled power plant (PLTGU) in Belawan. Chief spokesman of the attorney general office Setia Untung Arimuladi said investigators have found irregularities in the procurement of the Life Time Extension Gas Turbine GT 2.1 and 2.2 of the combined cycle power plant in 2012. Setia said here on Friday the investigators found enough evidence to charge and named CLM, SDS and SD , MA and RC suspects. The work and the output of the machine were not in line with the contract, he cited, adding, there was mark-up in prices . The contract, which was set at Rp554 billion, therefore, exceeded earlier estimate of Rp527 billion, causing a loss of at least 2.095 billion euro or Rp25,019,331,564, he said.
