Samarinda, E Kalimantan (Antara) - The death toll from a boat accident in Mahakam River, East Kalimantan, rose to 23 after one more body was found on Saturday night. "One more body believed to be that of a missing passenger of MV Karya Indah has been found. The body of male passenger was found on Saturday night at around 07.30 p.m. local time in Kunjang river, not far from Mahakam bridge," head of the East Kalimantan Provincial Disaster Mitigation Board (BPBD) Wahyu Widhi Heranata said on Sunday. The body which resembled H Bari, one of the missing passengers of sunken motor vessel, had been taken to Sjahranie Samarinda regional general hospital for identification, he said. The motor boat was carrying more than 60 timber company workers when it sank in the river on April 17. Forty people were rescued. (*)
