Banda Aceh, Aceh province - State Owned Enterprises Minister Dahlan Iskan a during general lecture at Syiah Kuala University here on Sunday said the bureaucratic reform in Indonesia is one of the country's step towards becoming a developed country. He argued bureaucratic reform is needed as more people demanded faster services from related authorities. "There are about 136 million of wealthy people in Indonesia who demand faster services in various public sectors while there are also 30 million poor people in the country who have limited access to public services," said Dahlan. He expressed optimism that if Indonesia implements a good bureaucratic reform, it will be able to be developed country in the next 10-15 years.(*)
