Australia Awards Fellowships aim to develop leadership, address priority regional development issues, and build partnerships and links between Australian organisations and partner organisations in developing countries, . This year, Australia Awards Fellowships will provide 1,172 current and emerging leaders and mid-career professionals from 59 developing countries with opportunities for short-term research, study, and professional development opportunities in Australia with Australian organisations. "This round of Fellowships will build capacity in a variety of sectors across Indonesia including: transport security, improved HIV responses; women leadership and water resource management," said Ambassador Moriarty.
