In a remarkable stride towards fostering innovation, growth, and collaboration, Breakthrough Venture Capital has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Airlangga University, a premier educational institution in Surabaya. 

The historic event, supported and witnessed by the esteemed Governor of East Java Khofifah Indar Parawansa and the Ambassador of Indonesia to the UK Dr. Desra Percaya, marks a pivotal moment in strengthening ties between the Western world and Indonesia through investment, education and technological advancement.

The LOI signing ceremony, held on August 29, 2023, at the Indonesian Embassy in London, was a part of the University of Airlangga reception hosted by the Ambassador of Indonesia to the UK, Dr. Desra Percaya. 

Representing Breakthrough Venture Capital were its visionary leaders Sandra Tusin, Koby Yoganatrem, Dr. Makhyan Jibril A, H.E. Dana Al Salem and  Dr. Satria Prabowo. Airlangga University was represented by Prof. Dr. Bambang Sektiari Lukiswanto. 

This event was supported by Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa who is also the leader of Airlangga University Alumni Community. 

She was recently awarded with Honorary Award for Global Peace and Women Empowerment by Minhaj Ul-Qur’an, International Organization in the Warwick, UK.

East Java, a vital trading hub in Indonesia, has rapidly accelerated its drive towards technology and infrastructure development. 

This strategic collaboration with Breakthrough Venture Capital aims to harness the region's immense potential, catering to Indonesia’s population of over 270 million people, and East Java’s 44 million. 

East Java also awarded with Lee Kuan Yew Institute as no 1 province for ease of doing business which in this semester 61 Trillion IDR has been invested there.
