Most recently, SIER signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with PT E-T-A Indonesia regarding improving services in industrial areas. PT E-T-A is a company based in Germany, one of the world's market leaders in the electronic, mechanical, and circuit breaker businesses.
The signing of the collaboration between the two companies was carried out on Sunday (16/4/2023) on the sidelines of the world's largest industrial exhibition, Hannover Messe 2023, which will be held in Germany on April 17-21, 2023. The Director of Marketing and Development PT SIER, Silvester Budi Agung, signed the MoU with the GM of Supply Chain Management & Business Development PT E-T-A Agung Kurniawan.

Also present were the Director of Holding for BUMN Industrial Estate PT Danareksa Muhammad Irwan, and the President Director of PT SIER, Didik Prasetiyono.
The President Director of PT SIER, Didik Prasetiyono, said PT SIER and PT E-T-A collaborated to improve services in industrial areas. SIER is firmly committed to providing all tenants with enhanced services in industrial estates.
"As one of the leading players in the industrial estate business in the country, SIER continues to innovate to provide the best service to investors. Service quality is a concern for SIER to win the industrial estate market, as well as SIER's support to make Indonesia and East Java investors' favorite investment destinations," Didik said when confirmed Tuesday (18/4/2023).
Didik said the service improvement was made by providing the best quality for regional facilities such as roads and utilities. In addition, by providing new products or facilities in industrial areas, such as new renewable energy, wastewater recycling facilities, and public electric vehicle charging stations.
"At the Hannover Messe 2023, SEER also arranged several meetings with vendors to improve regional facilities, including with Schnider Electric, a Frensch digital and automation company. We encourage the management of industrial estates to be more integrated and digitized in the future," said Didik.
Meanwhile, the Indonesian Ministry of Industry's Director General of Regional Resilience and International Industrial Access, Eko SA Cahyanto, said that the investment committee that Indonesia received as the Official Country Partner at the Hannover Messe 2023 event reached 200 times the target.
"Before the opening, the investment committee had reached IDR 30 trillion or 200 times more. It has exceeded the targeted number," said Eko.
Eko added that the Ministry of Industry, as an industrial coach, is trying to maintain the investment climate, ensure ease of licensing, and oversee investment plans until they are implemented.
"In addition, the incoming investment will also consider domestic partners. By the Law on Industry, the industry must enter industrial areas. That way, the industry is trusted to improve," said Eko.
