Bandarlampung, Lampung - A 5.5-magnitude earthquake struck the waters southeast of Bolaangmongondow Timur area in the northern part of Indonesia's Sulawesi island on Monday night, according to the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG). The quake which occurred at 10.29 p.m. western Indonesian time was centered 135 km southeast of Bolaangmongondow Timur in North Sulawesi province at a depth of 16 km, head of the Kotabumi geophysics station Chrismanto said. There was no immediate report of casualties or material damage. (*)
