Bandarlampung - An earthquake with a magnitude of 5 on the Richter scale hit southeast of Bolaangmongondow Selatan,in North Sulawesi early on Thursday. The meteorology and geophysics office in Kotabumi, Lampung, said the quake hit at 02.15 western Indonesian time with epicenter in the sea , 93 kilometers Southeast of Bolaangmongondow Selatan or 2.069 km Northeast of Jakarta at a depth of 11 kilometers. There was not report of casualty or damage to property. Chrismanto, head of the agency said, adding the quake was not potential to trigger tsunami. (*)
