Senior Official or Railway Company Resigns

Jakarta - Minister for state enterprises Dahlan Iskan said a senior official of state railway company PT Kereta Api Indonesia has tendered his resignation. The technique director of PT KAI tendered his resignation after he was given a new assignment to be in charge of assets of the company, Dahlan said here on Tuesday giving no name. An official of PT KAI said the technique director of PT KAI is Judarso Widiyono . The request is being processed at the office of the minister for state enterprises, Dahlan said. Dahlan said he would not question the reason for seeking resignation, adding, "it is his rights." Earlier, technique director Wisudo and finance director Mohammad Roem of state airline PT Merpati Nusantara Airlines resigned for unspecified reasons. (*)
