Jakarta (ANTARA) - Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati encouraged the STAN Polytechnic of State Finance to continue to advance Indonesia.
"STAN is a university where the state fund is extraordinarily invested. This campus should be able to make Indonesia better," Indrawati stated at the 9th Anniversary of STAN, as quoted from the ministry's statement here on Monday.
Indrawati remarked that STAN's teaching and learning processes are designed with the aim of building a generation of state financial managers who can utilize state financial instruments to create a bright future for Indonesia.
Meanwhile, various initiatives and innovations have been carried out to improve STAN's teaching and learning activities, such as by updating the teaching material on state finance management, providing access to information, and inviting practitioners as teachers.
Other improvements include enhancing the campus infrastructure, establishing partnerships at the national and global levels, and providing character-building lessons for STAN students.
To that end, Minister Indrawati affirmed that with the privileges the state has provided to STAN, the college must take on the responsibility and remain dedicated to boosting the nation's prosperity.
"The facilitations are complete, and if it does not produce results, which is a better Indonesia, then you are responsible," she emphasized.
Furthermore, she expected that STAN could develop and transform into a center for education and development of state finance human resources that not only have quality but also have positive character and ethics.
The finance minister hoped that the initiatives for the development of STAN could produce state finance human resources who are reliable and competent, have integrity, and are dedicated to the Republic of Indonesia.
Thus, STAN can be a valuable asset not only for the Finance Ministry but also for the entire Indonesian nation.
