Jakarta (Antara) - The meeting between Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) leader Megawati Soekarnoputri and Golkar Chairman Aburizal Bakrie Sunday night did not produce any agreement, PDIP Secretary General Tjahjo Kumolo said. "Megawati received Aburizal Bakrie who came to her to inform the results of Golkar's leadership meeting. Please ask Golkar about the result of its meeting," Tjahjo Kumolo told the press here Sunday night. He said the meeting between the two leaders was also attended by Megawati's daughter Puan Maharani and himself. "Megawati did not say she accept or reject it," he said referring to whether Golkar and PDIP would set up a coalition. Tjaho denied whether PDIP in the meeting accepted or rejected the idea of forming a coalition between the two electoral contestants. He said that the meeting between both sides did not affect PDIP's decision regarding its vice presidential candidate who would accompany Joko Widodo or Jokowi to run for president. "PDIP will meet with the leaders of three coalition partners, the National Democrat Party (NasDem), the National Awakening Party (PKB), the People's Conscience Party (Hanura) and Jokowi," the PDIP secretary general said. The meeting between the leaders of the four political parties with Jokowi will be held at Megawati's residence at 9 am on Monday. The meeting will be continued with the declaration of PDIP's vice presidential candidate at 10 am.(*)
