He noted that the products brought at the exhibition reflect the diversity of Indonesia's leading halal products, ranging from food and beverages to cosmetics.

In the previous year, Kartasasmita said Indonesia recorded a trade transaction commitment of Rp10.4 billion (US$608 thousand) at the exhibition. This success is a strategic momentum to continue more targeted promotional steps.

The event was opened by Secretary General of the Ministry of Industry, Eko Cahyanto, and Indonesian Ambassador to Turkey, Achmad Rizal Purnama, on November 27.

Moreover, the Indonesian Pavilion at the event also held a business forum presenting 10 speakers from various sectors, such as food and beverages, traditional medicine, footwear, clothing, and packaging, as well as investment facilitators.

With this participation, Indonesia is also expanding opportunities for strategic collaboration to support the growth of the sharia economy in the future, the minister remarked.
