Surabaya, E Java (Antara) - Bhayangkara Regional Police Hospital in Surabaya, East Java, received 10 more bodies of the passengers of the ill-fated AirAsia QZ8501 on the 27th day of search operation on Friday evening. A spokesman for the East Java Police, Senior Commissioner Awi Setiyono, said the bodies were flown from Pangkalan Bun, Central Kalimantan, to Juanda International Airport, Surabaya, by an army plane. "We have kept the bodies in refrigerated containers at the hospital. We will begin the process to identify them tomorrow," he added. With the recovery of the 10 bodies, the total count of recovered bodies have come to 63, of which 50 bodies are identifiable. "The Disaster Victim Identification Team of the East Java Police handed over the 50 bodies to the airline," he noted. Of the 50 bodies recovered, 13 are still in the process of being identified and 46 have been returned to their families.
