Jakarta (Antara) -- President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono inaugurated the Presidential Museum of the Republic of Indonesia in Bogor Palace on Saturday. "We believe that future generations should know about the lives and struggles of presidents. They should understand the contribution of each president and the challenges faced," Yudhoyono said while inaugurating the museum. According to the outgoing president, a great nation is one that honors its heroes and leaders, as well as their predecessors, and does not forget lessons learnt in the past. "I have faith that every leader or president wants to do their best, but the challenges they face are different," he remarked. He also hoped for the museum to be an active one. "Every president should develop and update the museum," he stated. (*)
