London, (Antara) - East Java Governor Soekarwo has invited British investors to invest in various sectors in the province.
The governor extended the invitation during the East Java Business Forum on Trade, Tourism and Investment, which was organized by the Indonesian Embassy in London, in cooperation with UK-ASEAN Business Council, recently.
At the business forum, attended by around 50 British businesses and opened by Rizal Sukma, Indonesian Ambassador to Britain, Soekarwo said that the economic growth in East Java is above the average of the national economy.
Therefore, Soekarwo invited the British business circles to take into account East Java as a development site for British investment in Indonesia.
Soekarwo added that the favorable political conditions and the developing market guarantee ease of investment in the province. Logistical support and great connectivity are also among other fundamental matters that can support the success of British investment in the province.
The business forum at the Indonesian Embassy in London is aimed to promote a series of Trade, Tourism and Investment activities in East Java and to attract more foreign investment in the province.(*)
