Jayapura, Papua (Antara) - Four truck drivers were killed after coming under a load of coral in the eastern-most Indonesian province of Papua on Friday evening. Papua Provincial Police spokesman Snr. Comsr. Pudjo confirmed the incident saying the police have questioned a number of witnesses. One person who sustained injuries in the accident has been taken to a regional general hospital in the Papuan provincial capital of Jayapura for intensive treatment. The truck drivers were waiting to have their trucks filled with coral in Polimak Karang area in the Papua provincial capital of Jayapura around 5.00 P.M. local time when the load fell on them. Three persons died instantly, while another died at the Navy hospital. The four deceased drivers have been identified as Yohanes Loy (48), Samad (42), Ancong (45), and Salman (40). The injured person undergoing treatment at the hospital has been identified as Aco (35). (*) Reported by Evarukdijati
