Bogor's Ulemas Support Prabowo-Hatta Pair

Bogor, W Java (Antara) - A number of ulemas or muslim scholars and community leaders from Bogor city and Bogor district in West Java province have declared their support to presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto and his running mate, Hatta Rajasa. "We named this event as a declaration of the United Muslims Coalition that is ready to win Prabowo-Hatta as president and vice president," said the Bogor Muslims Familiy chairman Fachrudin Sukarno here on Saturday. The declaration event took place at the Muslims Family Secretariat in Pajajaran street, Bogor city which was highlighted by the declaration reading and the inclusion of signatures on a 10 meters long banner. The ulemas and community leaders agreed to win the Prabowo-Hatta pair, for the realization of awakening Indonesia, providing welfare for all of Indonesian people. Indonesia will hold the presidential election on July 9, 2014, which will be contested by two presidential and vice presidential pairs: Prabowo Subianto-Hatta Rajasa and Joko Widodo-Jusuf Kalla.
