Tasikmalaya, West Java, (Antara) - Two French citizens were lightly injured after a train derailed in Tasikmalaya, West Java, on Friday night. "The two French citizens are now being treated at a hospital," head of the West Java chapter of the state-owned Jasa Rajarja transportation insurance company, Edi Supriadi, said at the scene of the accident here on Saturday. He said the two French citizens, identified as Phillipe Calonnec (43) and Gilles Mezanger (43), suffered minor injuries and were treated at Santosa hospital in Bandung. "The cost of their treatment would be paid by Jasa Raharja," he added. He said three people had died in the accident, while 10 others were injured. The cost of treatment for the injured would be covered by Jasa Rajarja, while the families of the dead victims would each receive Rp25 million, said officials. The KA Malabar from Bandung to Malang in East Java, carrying 367 passengers, derailed after running into a landslide at around 6pm on Friday, causing some of its carriages to turn over in the village of Kadipaten.
