Jayapura, Papua (Antara) - A motorcycle taxi driver, identified as Abdul Halil, was shot dead by an unknown gunman in Mulia, Puncak Jaya District, Papua Province, on Tuesday morning, a police officer confirmed. "Yes, it's true. A motorcycle taxi driver was indeed shot dead in Mulia, Puncak Jaya District," stated Senior Commissioner Sulistyo Pudjo, a spokesman of the Papua Police. According to him, the Puncak Jaya police officers are currently investigating at the crime scene. Abdul Halil, 43, was reported to have been shot in his head and his right rib by an armed civilian group led by Tengamati Telenggen. (*)
