Pontianak, W Kalimantan, (Antara) - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is scheduled to visit West Kalimantan to inaugurate the cross-border post in Entikong on Wednesday.
"The building of the Entikong cross-border post has been completed, and the president is to inaugurate it on Wednesday," West Kalimantan Governor Cornelis remarked here on Tuesday.
The governor was in Entikong on Tuesday to review the completion of the cross-border post, and the progress of the Tayan Sosok road construction in Sanggau District.
According to him, the Entikong cross-border post will later function as a custom integrated service center, quarantine, and security point, utilizing highly sophisticated equipment to control and inspect the movements of border crossers.(*)
