Jakarta (Antara) - President-elect Joko Widodo said he would respect the decision of the Constitutional Court on the dispute of the July 9 presidential election results, Thursday.
"We trust the MK and we will respect its decision. This is the last process of the July 9 presidential election last month," Joko Widodo, who is also better known as Jokowi, said.
He could not make predictions on the outcome of the MK proceedings on the presidential election dispute, Jokowi, who is also currently the governor of Jakarta, said.
"Let's wait for it. We all are waiting for it. So we hope that all will remain patient," he added.
He did not want to have a headache just thinking of the intention of the Prabowo-Hatta duo to take the election dispute to the State Administrative Court (PTUN) and the Supreme Court (MA), he said.
"All the problems will be settled at the MK which is the authorized institution to decide the dispute," he added. (*)
