Jakarta (Antara) - A chairman of the National Mandate Party (PAN) Saleh Partaonan Daulay said the data about alleged rigging of the recent presidential election will be revealed only at the session of the Constitutional Court. The team of lawyers of losing candidates in the July 9 presidential election Prabowo Subianto and his running mate Hatta Rajasa has filed a law suit with the Constitutional Court after Prabowo rejected the decision of the Election Commission (KPU). Prabowo accused KPU of being unfair. KPU has declared the rival candidate Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and his running mate Jusuf Kalla (JK) as victors of the election. Jokowi-JK won with 53.15 percent or almost 71 million of the total votes with Prabowo-Hatta managing only to garner 62.58 million or 46.85 percent of the votes. Jokowi and JK have even received congratulatory messages from world leaders including US President Obama and leaders of neighboring countries. Saleh said the data are not for the public that it would be difficult for Jokowi-JK camp and the KPU to find out the data about the alleged cheating in the hands of the Prabowo-Hatta camp. "Some of the data have been released to show to the public that the election has been rigged and that injustice would not be allowed to pass unchallenged," he said. There is legal challenge to protect the constitutional rights of the voters they gave in the presidential election, he added. "Our hope is the Constitutional Court would be brave to write a new history. A history about truth being unveiled and victory for one who is right," he said. (*)
