Bandarlampung, Lampung province (Antara) - A moderate earthquake measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale struck Simeulue district, Aceh province, here on Monday at 2:34 pm West Indonesia Time (WIB), the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) said. The quake's epicenter is believed to be 75 kilometers to the southeast of Simeulue district and 25 kilometers below the ground. So far, there are no reports of any casualties or damage. (*)
