Solo, C Java - Environmental Affairs Minister Gusti Muhammad Hatta is scheduled to officially open a High Level Dialog on the Institutional Framework for Sustainable Development (HLD IFSD) here on Tuesday. The dialog called Solo meeting is participated in by 250 representatives from 80 countries, 10 United Nations (UN) bodies, 21 Major Groups and 17 NGOs, a press release of the environmental affairs ministry said. Among foreign ministers attending the Solo Meeting are among others Zimbabwean Environmental Affairs Minister FDC Nhema, Romanian Environmental Affairs and Forestry Minister Laszlo Borbely, Congo Sustainable Development, Forestry Economic and Environmental Affairs Minister Congo Brazzaville Henri Djombo, Solomon Islands Environmental Affairs and Climate Change Minister John Fugui, Nepal Environmental Affairs Minister Sunil Kumar, Guyana Agriculture Minister Robert Montgomery Persaud, and Lesotho Tourism, Cultural and Environmental Affairs Minister Mannete Ramaili. The meeting is organized by the United Nations Conference for Sustainable Development (UNCSD) as the organizer of Rio+20 and the Indonesian government through the ministry of environmental affairs, the environment minister's expert staff for economic and sustainable development affairs, Dana A Kartakusuma, said here on Monday. He said the dialog was held with the aim of collecting inputs from participants for the development, reform or revitalization of IFSD formulation. The results of the meeting would be contributed to the Rio+20 process.
