Probolinggo, E Java, Antara)- President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is scheduled to visit Brani Wetan Village, Maron Sub-district, Probolinggo District, East Java Province, on Tuesday, to inspect a social forestry for economic equality program .
Hundreds of people have lined up on the village road since early in the morning to greet the Head of State and his entourage.
Environmental Affairs Minister Siti Nurbaya said President Jokowi would present government decrees allowing local community to benefit the social forestry area measuring 2,624 hectares.
A total of 1,496 families living near the area will have access to the program, she said.
President Director of state-owned Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) Achmad Baiquni will present micro credits and CSR funds to local farmers' groups and schools.
From Probolinggo, President Jokowi will return to Jakarta.(*)
