Indonesia Condemns Taliban's Attack on Pakistani School

Jakarta (Antara) - The Indonesian Government has condemned the deadly attack of Taliban gunmen on a school, owned by the Pakistani army in Peshawar city on Tuesday, killing at least 126 people and injuring 122 others.
The Indonesian Foreign Ministry's statement made available to Antara here Wednesday morning described the killing as "an inhuman act" that could not be tolerated with any reason.
Expressing its deepest concern and condolences over the deaths of the victims, including children, in the attack, the Indonesian Government gives its support and solidarity to the people and government of Pakistan in facing this difficult time.
None of Indonesians becomes the victim of the killing but all Indonesians in Pakistan should remain alert and take a good care of their safety, the Foreign Ministry said.
Reuters reported that the Taliban gunmen, who broke into the school, killed at least 132 students and nine staff members. (*)
