Surabaya (Antara) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono left Djuanda Airport in Surabaya for Jakarta on Sunday afternoon, ending a five-day working visit in East Java.
The President who arrived in East Java on Tuesday (May 1) began his visit by visiting workers of consumer durable goods producer Maspion in Sidoardjo and multinational consumer goods company Unilever in the Rungkut industrial estate in Surabaya.
The head of state witnessed the Indonesian military's joint exercise 2013 in Situbondo district after spending the night at Makassar warship. Vice President Boediono also witnessed the joint exercise.
From Situbondo, the President in the company of First Lady Ani Yudhoyono proceeded his trip to Probolinggo district where he played a volley ball with East Java provincial government officials. The volley ball match attracted hundreds of local residents.
President Yudhoyono held a dialog with the people living near the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park on Saturday evening.
On Sunday morning, the President and entourage left Probolinggo for Surabaya from where he returned to Jakarta.
The President was scheduled to arrive at Halim Perdanakusuma military airport in Jakarta on Sunday at 04.00 p.m. (*)
