Jakarta (Antara News) - About 40 South Korean artists grouped in the National Center for Korean Traditional Performing Arts (NCKTPA) will stage music and dance performances at the Surabaya Cultural Hall here on Sunday. Head of International Cooperation Affairs of the Surabaya Regional government Ifron Hadi Susanto said here on Saturday that the event would be held to mark the 40 years of South Korea and Indonesia relations. The event is organized in cooperation with the ASEAN-Korea Center. "Surabaya is selected to host the event because it has a sister-city relations with Busan, South Korea. The ASEAN-Korea Center is an inter-governmental organization with the mandate to increase trade volumes between the two sides. It also has the mandate to accelerate the flow of capital, activate tourism and enrich the exchange of cultures between members of ASEAN and South Korea.(*) Reporting by Abd Hakim, Editing by A.
