Mecca - An Indonesian hajj pilgrim died in Saudi Arabia this morning bringing the number to 10 of Indonesians dying in that country during the current pilgrimage season.
Sumirat Prayitno bn Karyono (53)died at 01.30 western Indonesian time on his way from Jeddah to Medinah.
Sumirat who belonged to flight group 17 from Jakarta died of hearth attack, an official of the Indonesian Hajj Mission in Mecca said on Friday.
There are 28 Indonesian hajj pilgrims being hospitalized in Saudi Arabia including 25 at the Indonesian Hajj Medical Center and three others at a Saudi hospital after having a stroke, kidney failure and lung disease.
Until Thursday 30,508 Indonesian pilgrims arrived in Mecca. Indonesia has a quota of 211,000 hajj pilgrims. (*)
