Sleman, Yogyakarta (Antara) - Djujuk Djuwariah, comedian and also the owner of popular comedian group Srimulat, passed away at Dr Sardjito hospital here at 3.10pm on Friday. Her son-in-law, Quirinto Endi, said she died after being treated for the past five days at the hospital. "Before being taken to RS Sardjito hospital she has several times been admitted to a hospital in Solo," he added. He said his mother-in-law died of a cancer but he did not know what was the type of the cancer she suffered. She had fought cancer for a long time and had even undergone surgery in Singapore. Djujuk died at 67 and her remains would be taken to Solo in Central Java for burial at Bonoloyo cemetery where her husband, Teguh Slamet Rahardjo, had been buried.
