Nusa Dua, Bali (Antara) - President-elect Joko Widodo, better known as Jokowi, met with the incumbent President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono for two hours here on Wednesday evening relating to good governmental transition. President Yudhoyono in his televised press statement after their first official meeting announced that they had discussed some important issues regarding the state and government affairs before the end of 2014 and beginning of 2015. "The discussion included the Draft 2015 State Budget and the Revised 2014 State Budget," the president said, confirming that it was not the last meeting between the two leaders. On the occasion, President Yudhoyono was accompanied by Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Djoko Suyanto, Coordinating Minister for Economy Chairul Tanjung, Education and Culture Minister Muhammad Nuh, and State Secretary minister Sudi Silalahi. Earlier, Indonesian military's former chief of territorial affairs and also a political observer Lt. Gen. (ret) Agus Widjojo said the meeting between President Yudhoyono and President-elect Jokowi on Wednesday night in Bali is expected to contribute to the success of government transition. Agus made the remarks during a discussion held in Jakarta, on Wednesday, titled Lessons Learned from the 2014 Election in the Context of Democratic Transition in Indonesia. (*)
