Jakarta (Antara) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is scheduled to audit the wealth of presidential candidates, Prabowo Subianto and Joko Widodo, on June 25-26, KPK's spokesman, Johan Budi, noted here on Wednesday. "Prabowo Subianto will come to the KPK's office to submit his wealth disclosure form on June 25, while Joko Widodo is scheduled to come the next day," stated Johan. According to the Indonesian law, submission of the state officials' wealth disclosure forms (LHKPN) was one of the pre-requisites for a person to run for presidency. "Handing over the LHKPN is very important because it not only shows the candidates' commitment to meeting the legal obligation but also shows their accountability to the people," Johan added. The General Elections Commission (KPU) has officially announced that Prabowo Subianto-Hatta Rajasa and Joko Widodo-Jusuf Kalla are the presidential and vice presidential candidates, who will compete in the July 9 presidential election. During the election number draw at the KPU headquarters, the Prabowo-Hatta pair got number 1 on the ballots, while the pair's rival got number 2 for the presidential election. Referring to Prabowo's wealth disclosure report on July 23, 2003, when he was still active in the military as the chief of the Armed Forces Staff and Command School, his wealth stood at Rp10.65 billion and US$4,216. Hatta Rajasa's wealth stood at Rp16.95 billion and US$56,936 on July 27, 2012, while Joko Widodo's last reported wealth stood at Rp18.47 billion and US$9,483 on February 28, 2010, and Jusuf Kalla's wealth stood at Rp314.51 billion and US$25,718 on November 16, 2009.
