Bandarlampung, Lampung (Antara) - A magnitude 5.7 earthquake rocked Central Mamberamo district in Indonesia's easternmost province of Papua on Wednesday night, according to the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG). The epicenter of the quake which struck at 08.55 p.m. local time was located 189 km southwest of the provincial capital Jayapura at a depth of 65 km or 3,604 km northeast of Jakarta, Yuharman, the head of the Kotabumi geophysics station in Lampung province, said quoting a BMKG report. There was no immediate report of casualties or material damage.(*)
