Tanjung Redeb, E Kalimantan - A new airport will be in operation soon at Tanjung Redeb, the capital of the regency of Berau, East Kalimantan. The Kalimarau airport is ready for operation, Rudi Ricardho, chairman of the verification team said here on Monday. Rudi said the result of the verification will be submitted to the air transport director general who is expected to give the recommendation for the airport operation. He said the air transport directorate general will prepare the schedule for the airport inauguration expected later this month. Berau Regent H Makmur HAPK MM thanked the verification team, saying he was pleased that his city would have an airport. (*)
