President Prabowo Subianto has called for measures to ensure the proper implementation of the Free Nutritious Meals program, according to Head of the National Nutrition Agency Dadan Hindayana.
"(The President's message) is to carry out the program as well as possible," he said when contacted from Magelang city, Central Java province, on Saturday.
Hindayana informed that the head of state issued directives during a visit to a newly opened nutritious meals service unit in Magelang, Central Java.

He added that the nutritious meals service unit has the capacity to produce around three thousand meal packages for the targeted recipients of the national program.
The official said that the service unit will provide nutritious meals to pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, toddlers, early childhood education pupils, and students studying at primary and secondary schools, including religious ones.
Earlier, President Prabowo left the Military Academy, where his aides are participating in a retreat, and arrived at the building of the service unit at 2:17 p.m. local time.
The head of state rode a buggy car to the service unit in the company of the nutrition agency's Hindayana, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, and Minister of National Development Planning, Rachmat Pambudy.
He reviewed the service unit before returning to the Military Academy at 2:25 p.m. to rejoin the members of the Red and White Cabinet at the retreat, which is scheduled to conclude on Sunday.

It was also reported that the President did not hold any ceremonial session during his visit to the base of the nutritious meals service unit.
