Jakarta, (Antara)- President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) here, Wednesday, departed for Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia, by presidential plane Indonesia-1, to meet Malaysian Prime Minister Dato Sri Mohd Najib bin Tun Abdul Razak.
The two leaders are expected to discuss various issues including on bilateral economic cooperation, manpower and border issues, as well as security and defense issues, during the 12th Annual Consultation Meeting between Indonesia and Malaysia.
While in Kuching, the Head of State is also scheduled to meet Indonesia's community in Sarawak. Some five thousand Indonesian nationals are expected to attend the gathering with the President.
Among members of the President's entourage to Kuching are Chairman of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Thomas Lembong, Coordinating Minister for Culture and Human Development Puan Maharani, Manpower Minister Hanif Dhakiri, Chief of the Presidential Staff Teten Masduki, and Minister/State Secretary Pratikno.(*)
