Purwakarta, W Java (Antara) - Two alleged terrorists were arrested by the National Police's antiterror detachment (Densus 88), while two others were shot dead when the police raided their hideaway in the Jatiluhur water reservoir, Purwakarta, West Jakarta, Sunday.
Based on the information released by the police, officers arrested suspects Rijal and Rahmat Syarif first, both recorded as citizens of Ngamprah Village, West Bandung Sub-district.
Both suspects then revealed that there were two more suspected terrorists hiding in the building that was raided by the authorities a few hours later.
The Densus 88 squad had warned both remaining suspects to surrender during the raid, but they attempted to escape instead, forcing the authorities to immobilize them.
According to local police, the suspects were Abu Sovi from Bandung and Abu Faiz from Padalarang, West Bandung Sub-district.(*)
