Surabaya (Antara Jatim) - Surabaya Mayor Tri Rismaharini, who is in the habit of regularly monitoring the condition of the city, has called on the media to help monitor a number of areas in the city.
"I have just seen the Tandes roundabout, where vehicles have been parked carelessly. Please tow them," she immediately instructed officials while checking several areas in the city, along with journalists.
Tri departed from her private house in Wiyung, Surabaya, by bus, along with several journalists. During the journey, the mayor appeared to give instructions to her subordinates when she found something that needed to be improved. The officers in the field directly responded to the instructions.
As the bus headed to west Surabaya via the Sememi road and stopped at Cahaya Park, the mayor checked the construction of the park, which is taking longer than scheduled.
She also took copious notes, including the function of the square, which must be integrated into the park, and the design of several points in the park, which did not meet specifications.
From Cahaya Park, the bus moved to Sumberejo. In the middle of her journey to Sumberejo, she visited a state elementary school.
Seeing that the mayor had entered the yard of the school, hundreds of students cheered enthusiastically to welcome the mayor.
