Seoul, (Antara)- President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) delivered a keynote speech at the Seventh Asian Leadership Conference (ALC) attended by several leaders, here, Monday.

In addition to Jokowi, other leaders speaking at the conference included South Korean President Park Geun-hye, former US president George W. Bush, and the Iranian president and vice president.

After delivering the keynote speech, the visiting Indonesian president paid his respects to South Korea's fallen heroes at the Memorial Tower in Seoul.

The Indonesian head of state is also scheduled to visit the Digital Media City, a broadcasting industrial zone.

Jokowi will watch a K-POP show and learn ways in which South Korean art and culture is promoted.

The president will also receive an honorary Seoul citizenship from its mayor.

At noon, Jokowi will hold a meeting with Governor of Gyeongsangbuk-do Province Kim Kwan-yong.

In the afternoon, Jokowi will visit the Ajou University to receive an award from the Asian Journalist Association.

After concluding his state visit to South Korea, President Jokowi will proceed to Sochi, Russia, to attend the ASEAN-Russia Summit on May 19-20.(*)
