Jakarta (Antara) - Vice President Jusuf Kalla is set to hold bilateral talks with four top foreign officials on the sidelines of the commemoration of the Asian-African Conference (AAC)'s 60th anniversary at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) on Tuesday. Kalla will hold talks with the Liberian vice president at 03.20 p.m., the Vanuatu foreign minister at 04.00 p.m., the Zambian vice president at 06.40 p.m. and the Omani foreign minister at 05.40 p.m., the vice president's secretariat said in a press statement released on Tuesday morning. The Indonesian vice president said earlier heads of state of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member countries will meet during the commemoration of AAC's 60th anniversary in Jakarta and Bandung, West Java, on April 19-24. "We hope that heads of state of OIC member countries will hold meetings during the AAC's anniversary commemoration," he said here on Wednesday (April 15). According to Kalla, President Joko Widodo also spoke by phone with his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, on Tuesday night (April 14) to discuss the matter. The meeting of OIC leaders is designed to discuss the possibility of setting up a task force to help achieve peace resolution on the Yemeni conflict. Meanwhile, Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno L.P. Marsudi strongly denounced the bomb attack in the Yemeni capital of Sana'a on Monday (April 20), which left a number of people injured and caused considerable damage to the Indonesian Embassy in the city. "I would like to state that Indonesia strongly denounces the bomb attack in Sana'a at 10.45 a.m. local time," she said in a press conference at the JCC on Monday (April 20). (*)
