Bandarlampung (Antara) - Presidential aspirant from the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) Joko "Jokowi" Widodo met with "Jokowi For Me" campaign workers during a breakfast at Emersia Hotel here on Saturday. During the meeting, Jokowi held a discussion regarding education and agriculture, as well as upgrading human resources to assure progress continues in Indonesia. He noted that Indonesia has abundant natural resources and that agriculture should remain a top priority. "Natural resources must be used properly for the good of farmers," Jokowi said. Further, he added that human resources would continue to be improved through higher education paid for by the state. "The government will be responsible to ensure education for talented and outstanding students so that, in the long run, they can contribute to the progress of Indonesia," he said. After the discussions, the Jakarta governor made his way to Central Lampung and Tulangbawang to campaign for the party. (*)
