Jakarta, (Antara)- First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo left for East Java Province for a one-day working visit.
The First Lady's entourage comprising Mufidah Jusuf Kalla, the spouse of the Vice President, and wives of cabinet ministers, departed from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, eastern Jakarta, on Thursday morning.
She is scheduled to visit Sidoarjo to join a public awareness campaign on cervical cancer prevention.
The Manpower Ministry has organized screening for cervical cancer for some 1,250 female workers in Sidoarjo, East Java.
Screening for cervical cancer using the Pap test aims to decrease the number of new cases of cervical cancer and the number of deaths.(*)
